Product Details
The Magnetic Tack Hammer is a staple of the Upholsterer's shop. It features a hickory handle with a fully-polished forged steel split head. The split end is magnetized which allows the user to easily pick up small upholstery tacks and safely start them without risking any fingers. The magnetic end is split to create both north and south poles in the same half of the head which enables the tack to be held in the center of the magnetized face more securely. The opposite end is not magnetized and is a perfect striking face for finishing the installation of tacks.
